Join us for the Inaugural Veterans Thrift Non Profit Bowling Tournament – Bowling for Heroes, a fun-filled community event supporting local veterans and their families right here in Lake Havasu City.
This exciting bowling tournament brings together individuals, teams, and businesses for an afternoon of friendly competition, great food, and meaningful impact. Proceeds from the event directly benefit Veterans Thrift Store, helping provide medical equipment loans, essential household items, assistance, and support for homeless veterans in our community.
Cash prizes are awarded based on the number of registered teams, so the more teams that join, the bigger the excitement!
Havasu Balloon Fest Golf Tournament

The Kiwanis Club of Lake Havasu City is proud to play an active role in supporting one of our community’s most exciting and colorful annual traditions — the Havasu Balloon Festival & Fair. Alongside our incredible volunteers, members, and the hardworking students of both the Lake Havasu High School Key Club and Telesis Key Club, countless hours are dedicated behind the scenes to help make this unforgettable event possible for our community and visitors from across the country.
For Kiwanis, this event represents more than just a festival — it’s an opportunity to serve, volunteer, mentor students, and strengthen community partnerships while supporting programs that benefit youth and families throughout our city. Our Key Club students proudly contribute hundreds of volunteer hours, gaining valuable leadership experience while helping create lasting memories for attendees.
From the stunning balloon launches over the Colorado River to the unforgettable “Glowin’ on the River” evening displays, the Havasu Balloon Festival continues to be a signature event that showcases the heart of Lake Havasu City.
The Real Sandbox Show

Presented by the Mohave County Chapter of the American Truck Historical Society, The Real Sandbox Show is a unique, hands-on experience where kids and adults can explore the world of trucking, construction, heavy equipment, and skilled trades. Held at the SARA Park Rodeo Grounds in Lake Havasu City, this family-friendly event gives attendees the opportunity to climb into real equipment, meet industry professionals, watch live demonstrations, and discover careers in the trades. Featuring trucks, cranes, bulldozers, interactive activity zones, vendors, food, music, and more, The Real Sandbox Show is designed to educate, inspire, and entertain while celebrating the people and machines that help build our communities.
